Dr. Pete Maurice
travels to the Philippines
Dr. Peter Maurice, in Lifestyle Lift's Seattle center, has just returned from a ten-day humanitarian medical mission to Luzon, the largest island in the Philippines. He performed facial reconstructive surgery on a dozen kids and adults there including cleft lip and palate surgery, cleft rhinoplasty and revision lip and palate surgery.
He collected donated medical materials from local hospitals and Lifestyle Lift's Seattle office prior to the trip. "I go to the Philippines every couple of years to help people who are severely disfigured. It's very gratifying because these people would never be able to afford surgery."
Dr. Maurice is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has privately practiced near Seattle since 2004. He is president-elect of the medical staff at Highline Medical Center in south Seattle where he is chairman of the Surgery Department and chairman of the quality and credentialing committee.
